Knowing your own Light & recognizing Psychic Vampires ~

This is of a little different tone,
than my usual sharings,
And is also, another excerpt, an exclusive sneak peak if you will...
from one of the two books currently in progress...

I have found that over the course of the past few years
certain issues have been coming up into the Light for many of us to be made aware of...
I guess you could say, it is about the "shadows"...'
I want to make it clear this is not a treatise on the "power" of negativity...
but a necessary awareness on the workings of this and to wit,
with that, understanding that "Knowledge is Power"
As synchronicity has a way of doing...
I just read this piece that was in my inbox.....
It speaks to an issue that has been coming up daily,
either for myself personally, or for others on the same path,
especially for those who are working from a Spiritual base,
Functioning at a higher vibratory rate...
Even though we are focused on the Light in All...
We must be ever aware of the affect that the
unknowing negativity that does exist out there,
can have on us all...
We can become depleted, depressed, irritable, have low energy and can't understand why...
As good little metaphysicians, we take it all upon ourselves...
We look to ourselves, and all of our stuff, and become frustrated
because we thought we had dealt with all of that a million times before...
What we need to understand, is that while it is always important to check inside first...
That a lot of the time...our experiences may be caused by external factors...
It comes as no surprise to most of us,
that we are experiencing a major shift in consciousness here on our Planet...
We and She are in a current state of evolution,
and shifts and fluxes, the ebbs and flows that are occuring can at times be monumental.
We need to understand and learn to distinguish, between that which is our "stuff"
And that which is not...
We are taught in metaphysics and quantum physics,
something that I believe has been misinterpreted,
And that is that like will always attract like...
And while this is true from an energetic standpoint and by right of consciousness...
It is also true, that as beacons of Light, we will attract other energies
that are of a lower vibratory rate...not bad...just not fully standing in that Light
These energies can be attracted to the Light, as moths to a flame...
They work with the Light, as there, in truth is only one Power,
And all that is...is "of the Light"...
These energies, are not necessarily aware of this and may not be fully aligned with that Light...
This is a major distinction...because of the lower vibration...
They cannot generate enough Light of themselves...
And will seek out others who have that Light...
And will literally attach themselves to that Light...draining and depleting it.
We need not judge these energies, but merely become aware...
And learn to distinguish and discern, our stuff as opposed to this...
And in this awareness, make the necessary adjustments to dispel those energies,
Be they our own or others...
just the awareness of what is happening is all that is necessary to release it...
Send them off with Love...Thank them for sharing...
but by all means...do send them packing...
Dispersing them back into the Light for Transformation.
And in this same framework,
We also, encounter on a daily basis...
many toxic situations and people of this vibration in our lives,
That can have the same effect on us...it is the same energy.
Bottom Line...
Become aware...and know that the Power is within You!
Do not allow anyone or anything, including yourself...
To rob you of Your Joy!

Look!
I will bet that, right now, you have a MONSTER operating very close to you.
These "psychic vampires" walk among us, and they are intent on ruining your success.
If you think of your life as a stage, and every major life event ... getting married, starting a band, educating yourself, launching a new life venture ... is a play ...
... and, at some point, the curtain must rise.
Guess what?
A huge part of the population consists of people who will do everything they can to keep that curtain from going up.
Their reasons are myriad ... and often unconscious.
They're afraid of success.
They're afraid of failure.
They can't handle being pro-active ...
They're only content when everything is "stalled."
You know who they are ...
... they're very good at complaining ... they always criticize ...
and they're awful at taking responsibility.
And they will suck the life out of you.
I have met hundreds of these vampires during my life-time.
It took me a long time to learn how to recognize them ...
and even longer to figure out how to deal with them.
Let me lay it out for you:
Most people do not have the energy or drive to run any project on their own.
It's all they can do just to "maintain" ... to keep things nice, safe, and "normal."
... they like "average."
However... with every single client I've worked with,
there has been at least one vampire lurking.
It can be a boss, parent, co-worker ...
... or your best friend.
Ever heard the term Schadenfreude?
It's German ... loosely translated as "malicious joy" ...
they literally take joy in the misfortune of others.
But why?
Why in the world would anyone take joy in the misfortune of others?
Because their own life is a mess.
Because they are wracked with self-loathing.
Because success would require change, and they are "addicted" to wallowing in misery.
I first saw this while playing music in college.
Some of the best musicians around just flat-out refused to get on a stage.
Their excuse was usually that they wanted the band to be "perfect" before they would commit ...
but that was a lie.
They were pathologically incapable of following through with anything.
And most of them wound up selling their instruments.
Later, I routinely encountered people who would pour their life savings into "preparing" a business venture.
But they could never let the enterprise actually begin.
They would spend years in meetings, endlessly re-writing and critiquing ads and never running them, forming committee after committee to "study" the venture.
Anything to keep the curtain from going up.
Successful people have a saying ...
"Anything worth doing is worth doing badly."
Just jump into the pool already ...
quit bothering the swimmers with endless questions about how cold the water is,
how much chlorine is in there, how deep it is.
Jump in and find out!
"Bring the curtain up."
I eventually learned to identify the vampires through "brain-storming traps."
In official brain-storms, you set up rules like "no nay-saying ...
because you want ideas brought up ...
NOT getting "shot down."
In performing "random-acts-of-brain-storming" ...
like when you just want to "float" something ...
you're looking for ways to be pro-active with any idea,
and you want to hear how it might work.
Psychic vampires will have NONE of this pro-active crap.
They're the guys who immediately say, "let me be the Devil's advocate here" ...
and they'll wax prolific on why any given idea won't work.
They delight in killing newborn ideas before they can take a breath.
Listen carefully:
Negative people will destroy you ...
... if you have someone close to you who is always complaining,
always seeing the bad side of any situation,
always sighing heavily at your "crazy ideas" ...
get 'em out of your life.
Immediately.
Break-off the friendship ...
fire him ...
get him shipped off to an assignment at the North Pole.
You can't soar with the eagles if you're hanging around with turkeys!
Ideas and fledgling life adventures are fragile.
They need nurturing ... not criticism.
The "psychic vampires" aren't just annoying ...
they're actively passionate about ruining your life.
They cannot abide success, or change, or even good news.
... I know ... they're always writing to me every time I send post about what's possible!
They're "walking soap operas" ... and they want you to be one of the tragedies.
... you know "misery loves company?"
Do NOT take this warning lightly.
If you truly desire success and the attainment of your dreams,
you must purge the "vampires" from your life.
Now!
And then empower yourself with the knowledge and information you need
to take your life to the next level.
